Here we discuss how their analysis supports the opposite, showing that our experimental CV rate.
Complementary activities of TPX2 and chTOG constitute an efficient importin-regulated microtubule nucleation module
Wednesday, 11.18.2015, 01:42pm
Using TIRF-based in vitro reconstitution assays Surrey and colleagues characterize how chTOG and TPX2 cooperate in microtubule nucleation and find that importins regulate the process.
Pharmacogenomic agreement between two cancer cell line data sets
Tuesday, 11.17.2015, 01:10pm
In panels of cancer cell lines analysed for their response to drug libraries, some studies have proposed distinct pharmacological sensitivities for some cell lines while other studies have not seen the same trends; here the data in the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia and the Genomics of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer are reassessed, and the authors report a stronger degree of concordance between the two data sets than that in a previous study.

Integrin endosomal signalling suppresses anoikis
Monday, 11.16.2015, 11:11am
Ivaska and colleagues report that endocytosed integrins are able to signal from endosomes in an FAK-dependent manner. They further show that endosomal integrin signalling can promote anoikis resistance and lung colonization in cancer cells.
MSPLIT-DIA: sensitive peptide identification for data-independent acquisition
Monday, 11.16.2015, 11:11am
Despite the sensitivity of data-dependent acquisition (DDA) on modern mass spectrometers, its semistochastic nature leads to sampling of a different subset of peptides each time a sample is analyzed, resulting in missing peptide identifications and decreased reproducibility across multiple runs.
